An investment in brilliant people who actually run things.
— Nicole Jones

THE INVESTMENT

The Operator Impact Grant is a $1,000 grant designed to support BIPOC-owned operators, consultants, and service-based businesses who are building sustainable companies through actual execution; not hype.

We believe the people who run the work often have the clearest vision and the least access to flexible capital. This grant exists to remove friction, fund momentum, and spotlight those who are actively investing in systems, structure, and long-term growth.

The Operator Impact Grant is not a loan and does not require repayment. Our goal is simple: provide capital to builders who are ready to move their business forward.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Apply During the Open Grant Window
Applications are open twice a year and submitted through our secure online application. A $25 administrative fee is required to help cover processing costs and reduce spam or duplicate submissions.

  2. Application Review & Selection
Applications are reviewed by a selection committee using a standardized evaluation rubric. We assess clarity of vision, readiness to execute, and how the grant funds will be used to support business growth.

  3. Grant Recipient Announcement
One grant recipient is selected each application window. Award announcements are made publicly, and recipients are notified directly via email.

  4. Funds Disbursement
Grant funds are disbursed within 30 days of the award announcement via electronic payment.

Applicants may reapply in future grant cycles, if not selected. See FAQs for more information.
